Assignment Task: I am struggling coming up with a thesis statement for the following:
Machiavelli argued that it is better to be both feared and loved at the same time. However, because it is difficult to achieve this balance, he argued that it is ultimately better to be 'feared than loved'. In regard to US Foreign policy, do you agree tat the US should take an approach that it is better to be feared? Why or why not? Give reasons and historical examples.
