- a list of the seven food groups, stating the importance of each one to a balanced diet
- a practical write up (including method and results) of practical analytical tests and investigations to establish the nutritional content of a wide variety of foods. These must include tests for
- starch
- protein
- lipids
- reducing sugars
- non-reducing sugars
- vitamin C test
- photographs and an observation record as evidence that you have carried out the practicals correctly
