Question: I have not seen much discussion on vasectomy as an option for pregnancy prevention. What are the risks and benefits? What patient education is important? How does the rate of vasectomy compare to tubal ligation? I know this is a class on women's health but feel this is an important topic to address. How often is vasectomy performed versus tubal ligation? What are the benefits/risks?
