Discussion Assignment -
Just to be sure we have a clear set of expectations, it would be helpful if you have a clear understanding of the following regarding the online discussions. The first distinction is that we will refer to the discussion boards as
Active participation enhances the class' learning in a way that makes the subject more meaningful and relatable to the group, and you are expected to participate in class discussions by posting contributions and materials to the Discussion Boards. To be counted as participation, your contributions should be thoughtful and refer to the week's readings, relevant issues in the news, or ideas expressed in other postings by your classmates. Your goal is to enter postings that add value to the discussions by providing your thoughts and analysis.
The second distinction is that you are required to do 3 posts to receive credit for each assignment. The first is your initial thought on the topic and the other 2 will be your response to your classmates. This creates a robust platform for sharing everyone's thoughts and ideas.
Conversations. Sure you have experience working in an online learning platform. As such, you already know how important your active involvement is to the overall success of the class.
