Assignment task:
Please read Erica Dhawan's Digital Body Language (Part 1). That's Chapters 1, 2, and 3. It's a quick read. (I'm a slow reader, and each chapter took me about an hour.)
There's no need to memorize it or take very detailed notes. You won't be quizzed on the content. Instead, what I'm interested in are your identifiable highlights, specifically:
From each of the three chapters, what's AT LEAST ONE idea that you already knew or suspected? In other words, what confirmed your previous understanding of digital communication?
From each of the three chapters, what's AT LEAST ONE idea that was new to you or made you look things differently? In other words, what surprised you?
From all three chapters combined, what's AT LEAST ONE idea that you can imagine trying out? What's the scenario? And why might this idea help you be a better communicator?
What's one observation made by another member of your discussion group that challenged your thinking or helped you see something more clearly? (Please don't use any names.)
