Assignment task: We have talked in this class about marketing a number of different types of products, services, people, places, etc.  And we have said that a smart marketer can market anything.

Knowing that, do technology products have a shorter life cycle than a traditional consumer packaged good? It can often be easier to copy and enhance technology at a quicker pace than creating modifications to manufactured products.

Does this quicken the speed that a technology based product could reach the maturity phase?
