Term Paper Proposal (ONE OR TWO page)
This will be your first step toward your Term Paper Assignment (THREE pages)
For this week: select one chapter (1-14), and, a sub-topic related to the chapter. The sub-topic can be something mentioned in the chapter or something of your choosing -- see below). Write up ONE-TWO page, describing what you intend to study, including your intended sources of information.
1) Chapter from textbook/topic from the textbook
Examples:
Chapter 2 Physical Geography and the Environment: Climate Change
Chapter 6 Sub-Saharan Africa: West African music -or- conflict diamond
Using your proposal and research, write and submit a three-page minimum / 5-page maximum paper -- diagrams are optional -- references are required; however, no set format
