Problem: Select 2 medical dictionaries/Medical flashcards that are less than 5 years old (Taber's, Black's, Stedman's, Mosby's, Saunder's, Webster's ...) and type a review of these dictionaries (about 300 words long in which you compare and contrast them)
Outline the major differences in these dictionaries (for example, do each include etymologies, pronunciations, illustrations, appendices ...) and tell how they differ in the discussion of at least one disease or medical procedure that you select.
Things to think about:
- Were your dictionaries less than 5 years old?
- Did you include the edition and publication date of each dictionary?
- Did you include a comparison of the ways each dictionary presented a specific disease or medical procedure?
Which one is preferable to you in helping you with your didactic (NIHI) course?
