Problem: Stella is a 62-year-old female who was diagnosed with COPD five years ago. She has a medical history of bronchitis and upper respiratory infections spanning most of her adult life and admits to smoking one pack of cigarettes per day for the past forty-six years. She quit smoking during the past year. Stella has currently been admitted to the hospital complaining of severe dyspnea and fatigue- "I'm hardly able to do anything for myself now.
