Discussion: Web based applications
Many organizations that maintain electronic information systems resist the demands of users to make these systems accessible via the web. Instead, they require that users access these systems from computers physically located on the facility's network or by using software that is not licensed for use on laptops or home computers.
Discuss why it is that organizations might choose to set such a policy, as well as what could be done to convince them to permit web access.
