Managers are responsible for developing and carrying out this management process. Remember, a role is a set of behavioral expectations, or a set of activities that a person is expected to perform. Management roles are just these: sets of activities that managers carry out daily.
Managers' roles fall into three basic categories.
- Informational
- Interpersonal
- Decisional
