Based on the article above, can you please help me consider the claims made in the White House press release about making research data publicly available, in addition to simply the "results" and the publications that emerge from that data. What are some of the pros and cons about doing this? What is your opinion about these claims--that is, what are you most convinced by (pros or cons?) or where do you stand on this issue?
