Did you use the skill at the appropriate intensity according to the chart in the lecture? How could you tell?

e) OBSTACLE: What is an obstacle that has will keep you from using interpersonal effectiveness skills at the appropriate intensity? Name at least one internal barrier and one external barrier.
f) PLAN: What are your plans for overcoming these obstacles and barriers to using interpersonal effectiveness skills at the appropriate intensity? Make sure to include an if/then statement (i.e. If you face "obstacle x", then you will do ...) and then expand on how you will ensure you stick with that plan. Include specific steps!
Quiz Section Reflection: Reflect on your interpersonal effectiveness skill role-play during class this week and complete the following extension activity. Your response for this section should be about 1 page double spaced.
a) In class role-play: Write a half page reflection on this activity that includes the name of your partner, a brief description of the scenario your group used, and a recap of the role plays you and your partner went through for your DEAR MAN, GIVE, and FAST. For your role play, describe generally what you did, how you felt it went (strengths and areas to improve), and the feedback your partner gave you (strengths and areas to improve). For your partner's role play, describe generally what he or she did, how he or she felt it went (strengths and areas to improve), and the feedback you gave him or her (strengths and areas to improve). For both roleplays, also focus on how you decided the intensity with which to use the skill.
b) Individual role-play: Pick another scenario you brainstormed during the group discussion part of the activity. Write a second half page reflection on how you would approach using the skills for this scenario. Include a brief description of the scenario and talk through the DEAR MAN, GIVE, and FAST.
