It helps to build strong bones and regulate blood pressure and blood sugar levels. The majority of magnesium is stored in the bones. When we lack magnesium, we can be prone to muscle spasms, irregular heartbeat, fatigue, and numbness. Too much magnesium can cause diarrhea and nausea. Some food sources are beans, poultry, leafy greens, nuts, and seeds.
