You will locate, analyze, and write how the 21st century uses in popular culture of imagery or ideas related to the Revolutionary era (roughly 1763 to 1783). These might take the form of commercial or retail advertising, political advertisements, or references to these topics in music or video (note: feature films or books primarily dedicated to these topics, like The Patriot, are not valid for this assignment)
Discuss the ways that the Revolution is used and consider the extent to which this is a subtle or overt attempt to persuade people about the product or campaign.
