Assignment task
1: In our first module readings, we had 5 major challenges that face managers today. Select the 2 or 3 that you see as the most important or that you have had experience with and share with the class why you see this challenge as a priority and how it impacts organizational results.
Assignment task 2: We explore 3 broad skill areas for managers - technical, conceptual and decision skills, and interpersonal and communication skills. Share an example of a skill in each of the 3 areas and where you see your strengths and weaknesses.
Assignment task 3: Throughout our class we will be exploring the competitive advantages that managers can use to help organizations be successful. Discuss these sources of competitive advantage and again which ones you have had experience with and the context of that experience.
