Discussion Post: Journal Article Review

Choose one recently published scholarly article on the Criminal Justice System from the Ashford Library. The article should be no older than 10 years and can be on any research topic in the criminal justice system.

To find an article from the Ashford Library, follow these steps:

• In the left navigation of the course website, the "Writing Center & Library" tab, then choose "Library" on the next page.

• Type into the box, Topics in Social and Criminal Justice system and be sure that both boxes are checked for "Full Text" and "Scholarly/Peer Reviewed." Then click the search button.

• When the list of articles populates the page, scroll down on the left navigation and adjust the search dates to include only the last 10 years. Then go to the top of the page and click the "search" button again.

• Choose one article from the list, published in the last 10 years, that is full-text and peer reviewed/scholarly.

The response must include a reference list. One-inch margins, double-space, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
