Problem:
One could make the argument, as we discuss in the material for Judaism, that much of Judaism's survival over the years is its emphasis on rituals that occur within the context of family life (i.e. Passover) as even more central than participation at weekly synagogue worship.
Would you agree with that assessment?
Is it more important to experience the core of a religious faith within the context of a family or at a larger gathering of the community (i.e. synagogue, church, mosque, temple)?
Is someone missing something if they don't attend a worship service?
Conversely, are they missing out if religious rituals are not integrated into one's home life?
