Problem
As we discussed, association executives need to be both managers and leaders. It should be clear to all stakeholders of the organization that the association executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organization and for leading staff members in performing their best in fulfillment of the mission of the organization. But should the leadership responsibilities of the association executive extend beyond the staff to other stakeholders of the organization, such as the board, the members, and the public? Explain.
