Note - Woolworths is the leading supermarket in Australia. It faced significant challenges during the first stages of COVID 19 because of a national and state lockdowns. I believe this question is referring to Woolworths need to rapidly shift its distribution chain to combat sickness in the workforce, out of stocks countrywide, panic buying etc. Although it was already online, it needed to rapidly upscale operations to combat demand. Woolworths now has international competitors such as Aldi and Costco coming into the market.
