ELA Instructional Plan Title: Main Idea and Supporting Details Lesson Summary and Focus: We will read the book The Gruffalo as a class. After the story, students will discuss the important elements such as who, what, where, when, why. This will help focus on comprehension, communication, and language development. Classroom and Student Factors/Grouping: The classroom hosts nine fifth grade students, of which three students are on IEPs. These three students have disabilities ranging from reading, ASD, and emotional and behavioral disorders. These affect all areas of academics. There are two students who have mild ID and another with a speech language impairment with reading needs.
The response must include a reference list. One-inch margins, double-space, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
