"Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as the Zachman Framework are essentially conceptual skeletons that facilitate the design, development and implementation of an Enterprise Architecture solution or initiative, but they are not solutions in themselves. They provide insight into the application, data, process, infrastructure and organisational dependencies of the Enterprise Architecture project, but they also assume a level of expertise and experience on the part of the practitioner and here lies the critical problem in the implementation of existing Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as the Zachman Framework."
