Assignment Task:
Hank Snow is an attorney for Johnny & Cash law firm located in Logan Utah. Snow was hired by a local rancher, Glen Campbell to sue Campbell's neighbor Loretta Lynn for the loss of 10 cattle valued at $18,000 which Campbell believes were killed by wild animals kept on Lynn's property. Lynn runs an exotic animal rescue on her property which has become very popular with the locals and tourists alike. People come from all over to see her lions, tigers and bears. Recently, Lynn's exotic animal rescue was featured on the Tonight Show when Lynn appeared with several cute bear and lion cubs that played sweetly with the host Jimmy Fallen. The entire Cache Valley is proud of Lynn and happy for the publicity which has been a boon to the economy of the area.
Snow has a lot of work to do on this case. High tech forensic techniques will be needed to determine which animal killed the cattle along with DNA testing. Lynn has stated that she will not cooperate at all with Snow and that he will get access to her animals over her dead body.
Snow entered into an agreement with Campbell regarding the litigation. The terms of the agreement are that Campbell will pay a retainer of $7,000 and be billed at an hourly rate of $326 per hour.
