Discuss the effect of fruit on the state of jell-o


Assignment task: In the Biology lab experiment where we investigated "The effect of Fruit on the state of Jell-O, discuss the following questions. (The enzyme protease was involved in this lab. Blueberries allowed Jell-o to form but kiwi did not. )

- What other lab extensions could be done? For example, choose a different variable to manipulate. Remember that you can only change one variable in the lab. Explain why someone would want to test that variable. (Please do not simply state that we should test other fruit, unless it is for a specific reason. You also do not need to give a full procedure.)

- A scientific error is a flaw in the design of the lab that is out of the experimenter's control based on the procedure used. It is something that could potentially influence the outcome. Think back to what we discussed in the Macromolecules Lab. Find one experimental error for this lab and explain how it could have been controlled.
