Research Essay:
Create a 1 to 2 pages paper:
Explaining the duties/purpose/history of the department. You should include such information as interesting facts about the department and agencies that are part of that department (ex: The FBI is part of the Department of Justice). You should also include important historical events, laws, etc. that are associated directly with your Executive Dept.
Hints for research - You can search your department on any search engine. When you enter your search, there are many different ways to enter it: "US State Department" or "US Department of State".
