Resistance is defined as anything a family does to oppose or impair progress in family therapy. Why is it so important that resistance be addressed in order for treatment to move forward positively? What are some ways of addressing resistance?
In this assignment, you will review the material in your learning resources and discuss the concept of resistance. You will describe the ways resistance might impact each stage of the family therapy process. You will also discuss how to address resistant in each stage. Be sure to list each stage as described.
