Discuss the causes and impacts of the Holocaust. You must include at least 10 different documents as references, coming from several of the following sources:

A. What were the main causes of anti-Semitism in Europe?
B. How could the specific hatred and persecution against one group occur in a modern and advanced nation such as Germany? Describe how the Nazi's achieved their goals with respect to the Jews.
C. Compare and contrast the Nuremberg Laws in Germany and the Jim Crow Laws in the United States.
D. Why did the West not do more to stop the Holocaust from occurring?
E. What are some of the long-term socio-political effects of the Holocaust? Are we still dealing with its aftermath 75 years later?
F. Describe an area of the world where violence or discrimination is still happening to an identifiable group. What can and should be done in this situation?
G. Describe your reactions, emotions, and thoughts to what you have read, seen and heard.
