This paper will be your reflection/thoughts on the problems and potential solutions related to health care. As with every reflection paper, it should be 1 to 2 pages, double-spaced, 12-point font (and no weird/extra spacing/fillers) - and you need to refer (make a connection) to at least one of the readings assigned for this week.
While watching "Sick around the world," take note of the different countries' health care systems - things like type of coverage, who pays, % of GDP, administrative costs, and the advantages/disadvantages of each. Using these notes and the readings from this week, respond to the following questions.
1. Which of the countries profiled has what you would consider the best health care system? Why?
2. Is it more functional for a society to have health care be a right or a privilege? In other words, should health care be connected to employment or should everyone be covered?
3. What are some potential solutions to improve transparency in health care pricing and reduce health care costs in the United States?
