Length: 4 to 6 pages.
This homework has two parts, which will be submitted in one document.
1) Part 1: Discuss several essential qualities of effective IEP's for students with intellectual disabilities. Note how these IEP qualities will promote school performance success for students with intellectual disabilities in both special education and inclusionary placements.
2) Part 2: Discuss how you, in a special education leadership role, would ensure the implementation of effective IEP development qualities and procedures for students with intellectual disabilities throughout your school or school district. Note how you would provide applicable IEP training opportunities for special and regular education teachers as well as important IEP information for parents concerning the educational placement of students with intellectual disabilities.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
