Problem 1) There are several reasons why employee motivation is important. How does understanding what motivates someone benefit you/others? Explain what are internal and external motivators and describe at least one example of each type of motivator.

Problem 2) Explain what are the difference between task and maintenance functions of groups. Explain why they are both important to the functioning of your Portfolio Case team. Based on your Portfolio Case team, describe one task function and one maintenance function with examples that you provide to your team.

As an employee it helps you understand how work in the company is done and who you would be interacting with. Design dimensions are used to describe the characteristics or organizations. Describe these two dimensions: formalization and specialization (2). Describe a simple organizational structure and explain the formalizations and specialization dimensions within this simple organizational structure.

Problem 4) You discovered you personal conflict management style as a class activity. Name your style and describe one characteristic of the style that best reflects YOU (1). Referring to your work experience discuss two situations where your style may be appropriate (2) and explain why your style is appropriate for these situations (2).
