Assignment task:
Treatment Plan: The primary goals of treating paranoid schizophrenia are symptom management and prevention of psychotic episodes. The patient's treatment plan will involve a combination of psychotherapy and psychotropic medication. Given that patients with this disorder have a high rate of non-compliance with oral medications due to paranoid beliefs, an injectable psychotropic agent will be initiated. Paliperidone will be administered intramuscularly at a dose of 234 mg during this visit, followedby 156 mg on the eighth day, and then 117 mg monthly thereafter (Emsley)
