Various results can be observed when there is the practice of capping energy used by industries. One of the positive impacts is a lack of sufficient resources used in the creation of well-functioning industries. This is something that is challenging since it could result in the destruction of the available industries, which are unable to come up with their own sources of energy. This could also be devastating to the industrial sectors since they are not able to get products and raw materials to and from the different areas (Gould & Lewis, 2020). This is a sector that therefore may need to have more energy being directed towards it since it allows for the growth and sustenance of many other areas. When it comes to commercial sectors, it would be very important to figure out how a limitation of the energy would allow people to know how best to nurture development in their sector (Gould & Lewis, 2020). There are many sectors that can end up being affected badly, when there are caps placed on how much energy they use. This can affect the economy since the goods and services that people require, do not get to them in time, since their machines and employees need to have reliable sources of energy. At the same time, it is important to note the value of having people make changes in the type of consumption they have of energy (Gould & Lewis, 2020). With the type of technological development that has been observed in the country, it would be necessary to allow for such technology to be used to reduce the consumption of energy that is harming the environment. Capping the energy consumption can also force people to come up with their own sources of power, which can give them the chance of growth, without having it coming at the expense of the health of the environment.
Many of the sectors that have been discussed, often make use of fossil fuels. This is something that challenges the state of the environment since a lot of fossil fuels create a lot of damage to the environment. Creating a cap on energy use would have people in the different sectors being expected to make use of healthier sources of fuel (Gould & Lewis, 2020). This is something that will help make sure that they are able to undo the damage that has been caused by the consistent use of fossil fuels. The quality of life that people have, is also determined by the people that are presently contributing to the poor state of the environment.
