Case study: Hope is an organisation that will be supporting the needs of the community through holistic approaches. This will mean not just looking at the one aspect of the issue but an overall view so that all areas can be addressed, and a plan put in place to help better the lives of those in need. Services and programmes that will be sustained by HOPE will support members of the community who are homelessness and have comorbidities such as mental health issues, in engaging with other support services to support their needs. Group therapies and counselling can be provided for the clients in order to address their concerns and be able to develop social and emotional strategies in order to address the crisis that they are facing in their lives. Other services and programmes proposed are: Food banks Legal services Education opportunities Personal enrichment/development opportunities Other facilities such as: Accommodation Showers and toilets Kitchen Laundry A safe place to meet and chat with others in a similar situation An area for recreation and entertainment, group meetings etc. Other areas that may be considered: Motivational speakers Cultural programs Reintegration of released detainees back into the community.
