Problem
A. Patient underwent microvascular anastomosis with free omental flap pedicled on to the left gastroepiploic vessel to reconstruct a defect.
B. Patient underwent nerve repair for a peripheral nerve injury, left hand, to restore innervation. Operating microscope was used for nerve allograft, three nerves, using nonvascularized cable nerves. Incision was made, tissues were dissected tissues to locate damaged nerves, which were resected and removed. Nerve allografts were attached to each end of resected nerves, suturing proximal and distal ends into place. Region was infused with heparin solution and saline to prevent clot formation. Operative wound was repaired in layers.
C. Patient underwent arthrodesis, anterior interbody, with C1 nerve root decompression, disc space preparation, discectomy, and osteophytectomy. Operating microscope was used to facilitate surgery.
