Assignment task: Discussion reply to classmate
My thoughts and feelings have stayed consistent throughout this course. I'm still confident my work will be done on time and to the best of my ability. I have been doing my best since I was back in college. It's harder for someone my age to return to school than for a younger person finishing high school and continuing to college.
My comfort as a writer increases weekly as I continue my education. I have always been a person who talks a lot, and I would write the way I talk. Even at work, I would have someone else proofread my emails before sending them. Now, I am the one that does the proofreading. I was introduced to Grammarly and taught how to use the Microsoft suites properly. This helped me a lot with my spelling and sentence formation.
The instructor's feedback was instrumental to how I looked at my writing. Also, the input from the other classmates gave me something to think about. Looking at my work from someone else's perspective and reading what they had to say was a great way of seeing it in a new light. This is why I now ask my supervisor and coworkers for their opinions about any work I do throughout the day.
