Problem: One of the main workforce issues faced by hospital systems today is staffing shortages due to staff burnout. Post pandemic, many hospital systems have struggled to keep qualified nursing and other clinical and nonclinical staff as they are burnout. There are also not as many individuals going into healthcare, which has caused a shortage of qualified individuals to fill open positions. With there being a staff shortage, current staff is also becoming burnt out, causing more staff to leave.
