What is freedom, and what is the difference between "freedom of" and "freedom from?" What is order? What is equality, and how are political equality, legal equality, equality of opportunity, and equality of results different?
Discuss the dilemmas associated with balancing freedom, order, and equality. Cite examples or situations where these values might be mutually beneficial, and when they might be in conflict with one another.
Which value --- freedom, order, or equality --- is most important to you, and why? How would you justify emphasizing your preferred value in comparison to the others, especially in those situations where doing so would result in the loss or detriment of other values?
Next, discuss in some detail the results of the five quizzes you took as part of this problem. Do you agree with the results? Explain.
Based on what you know at the present time, to which political ideological group do you most closely align --- i.e. liberal, conservative, libertarian, socialist, communist, fascist, or other --- and why? Can you see a connection between your values and your ideological leanings? Explain.
