Problem
A. How do we invite young children to enter into the writing process?
B. Find an academic article on writing instruction for young children. Compose a summary and a review (include what you agreed or disagreed with, how the article relates to your experiences, and/or how you plan to use the information in your classroom).
C. Read chapter 18, "How to Cr/eat/e an Effective Lesson." Compose two paragraphs. The first should define an Effective Lesson according to Wong & Wong. Using the information about formative and summative tests in chapter 19, compose a second paragraph comparing and contrasting formative tests and summative tests according to Wong & Wong. In other words, discuss how the tests are alike and how the tests are different.
D. You will choose 3 items, (strategies/ideas), from the assigned weekly chapters that specifically relate to 3 of the bulleted items listed below the 7 Topics on the Final CMS outline.
You will then compose a paragraph for each of the 3 chosen strategies or ideas.
