1. During the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, there were major changes to religion in Tennessee. With the growth of Methodism and Baptist, there were also additional denominations birthed in Tennessee.
Discuss how religion changes the social, racial, educational and political make-up of Tennessee during the period.
