The overall health of the U.S. population can be affected by public health threats or concerns globally. Examples include COVID-19, Ebola Virus, H1N1 (to name a few). Improving health globally can improve health in the United States and support global security interests by nurturing political stability, diplomacy and economic growth. Discuss how improved global health helps the United States and what the emerging issues are in global health.
