Discuss generation with the so-called peter-pan syndrome

Problem: Viegas (2007) conducted a study that found older cartoon characters tended to be angry, senile, crazy, wrinkled, ugly and overweight. She further states that Tom Robinson the lead author of the study stated that, "The most negative older characters in the Disney animated films were the villains," as highlighted with "Mim in The Sword in the Stone, the wicked stepmother in Cinderella, the witch in Snow White, Cruella De Vil in 101 Dalmatians, and more." To participate in this forum, search the internet to find some comic books, cartoons, or Disney movie clips depicting "older adults" and copy them to the forum. Comment on everything you notice about these characters, such as their appearance, emotions, actions, behaviors, etc. What does this teach children about aging or the older adult population? Are we creating a generation who is afraid to grow up, a generation with the so-called "Peter-Pan syndrome"?
