The relative importance of a child's natural environment and social environment in their growth is a question that researchers in the 21st century are currently attempting to answer. Whether a child is more influenced by "nature or nurture" is still being investigated using scientific methods. Despite this, the scenario is not the easiest to analyze because children are not distributed but instead born into families. In contrast to breeding dogs with violent features with dogs with calm or joyful traits and then letting the offspring of the two different breeds raise puppies together, a parent cannot choose which child they will have. For instance, a child could learn to say "please" and "thank you" by observing others and receiving positive feedback. Observing older children engage in violent behavior on the playground may teach younger children how to behave violently (Cherry, 2020). This could result in one child teaching another youngster how to act aggressively. Characteristics of an individual's looks and personality can be inherited and are influenced by nature. On the other hand, our environment and culture, how we were brought up, the things we went through as children, and the connections we had with other people are all examples of the influence of nurture.
A child's development can be affected by genetics and their environment, including things like socioeconomic position, cultural standards, and relational issues. Genetic interaction associates' conflict between dominant and recessive genes that influence the physical traits of a child, such as the physical characteristics of the parents and genetic expression, hereditary health disorders, or simply eye color. Genetic interaction can be considered a conflict between dominant and recessive genes. The behavior that is displayed by developing youngsters is influenced by influences in their environments. How a child is reared can significantly impact the individual's ecological behavior, and the challenges the child confronts daily in their environment will impact their stage of development. When it comes to being nurtured, a child will be affected by whether or not one or both of the child's parents are interested in spending time with them. According to Santos (2016), the choices you make and the actions of the individuals your child interacts with can either help or hinder a child's ability to fulfill their full potential.
My parents have been a significant factor in shaping who I am today, including my personality, my social ties with other people, and my values. For example, my mother is quite outspoken, and I am the same way. She goes to as many social gatherings as possible and is always there to encourage her pals. She has motivated me to do the same thing since I like showing up to support my friends anytime they host an event. In addition, as I grew up, I saw my parents help many people; whenever anyone needed assistance, they would open their doors to them. Because they both possess a high level of self-assurance, they can easily maintain positive connections with their contemporaries or engage in conversation with other people. Consequently, I inherited both my mother's and father's self-assurance and extroversion. It is so much fun for me to learn about new cultures and make new friends worldwide.
