Part 2: What more information can I add to this answer to the question:" What risky behaviors might adolescent children engage in, and why?"

Adolescents may participate in risky behaviors such as drug usage, underage drinking, smoking, reckless driving, dangerous sexual conduct, and gang affiliation. Peer pressure, the need to fit in, or a drive to rebel against authority are just a few of the causes of these behaviors. Teenagers may also act riskily if their parents or other adult role models fail to provide them with direction.?

Utilizing illegal substances, partaking in underage drinking and/or smoking, driving recklessly, engaging in dangerous sexual behaviors, and participating in gang-related activities are all examples of potentially harmful behaviors that teenagers may engage in. These behaviors may manifest themselves for a number of reasons, including the desire to rebel against authority, the need to conform to the standards set by others or even peer pressure. It is also possible for adolescents to engage in dangerous activities because they do not get enough direction from their parents or because they do not have enough good role models in their lives.?
