Problem: Choose an artwork from the Metropolitan Museum of Art collection. Use at least four elements and three principles of design to describe the artwork. Be sure to begin each description with the artist's name, title, medium (what is it made of), year, and an image of the artwork. Take your time to explain what you see and explain why the terms you're using apply with specific examples from the artwork. Attempt to uncover what the artwork may be trying to communicate through these elements and principles. Feel free to also include the stylistic terms from module 1, as appropriate.
