Can you revisit this area of mental health, address the following:
Describe at least three local advocacy activities, services, and/or public policies that address an area of mental health in the community and state (Georgia). For example, domestic violence, you might research the services available to serve victims and perpetrators in your community, the legal and advocacy services for victims, state funding for victims, policies regarding welfare and protection of children living in violent homes, et cetera. Describe how these resources or lack of resources might impact your ability to provide services that are equitable and responsive to the unique needs of your clients. Identify at least three policies, programs, and services that you would like to advocate for to improve the services you could provide for your clients.

Provide examples of the advocacy efforts you could make. What skills will you need to develop in order to be a successful advocate for your clients? Discuss any personal cultural heritage, biases, and beliefs that may impact your advocacy efforts in this area of mental health.
Analyze how client advocacy strategies and public policies can inform the effective delivery of mental health practices in your community.
