The International Court of Justice (ICJ):
Its major functions are to settle legal arguments submitted to this by states and to provide advisory opinions on legal questions submitted to this by duly authorised international agencies and organs. The International Court of Justice is composed of 15 judges selected to nine year terms through the UN General Assembly as well as UN Security Council through a list of persons nominated from the national groups into the Permanent Court of Arbitration.
