Discussion: The Apollo-Soyuz Test Project Space Mission
My son needs help with expanding the exploration encounters and exchange in history on Apollo Soyuz. Below he has what each one is but needs to list key facts or topics for each. He is needing 3 to 4 key facts for each.
1. Exploration - exploration in space, personified by the international space station
2. Encounter - encounter in space between an American Apollo crew and a Soviet Soyuz crew in the middle of the Cold War. It was a very significant step in the relaxing of international tension during the Detente era of the 1970s
3. Exchange - exchange of ideas and goodwill eventually led, after the end of the Cold War, to the current era of international cooperation in the exploration of space
