Assignment:
You have an assignment. The sooner you get in done the better, but you can coordinate with your peers. Each one of you is to find a unique news article about the Boston Marathon Bombing response. I'd first ask you to read the highlighted readings from Why Was Boston Strong (your readings will also be part of the final anyhow!). Then, find a news story from 2013. Post the link to the story and why it was important to the aftermath of the bombings. Anything from 4/15/13 forward. Sum it up in 2 paragraphs or more. Tell me:
1. What issues it raises about the response (good/bad/otherwise)?
2. Does it relate back to the other incidents we have discussed (how)?
3. What makes this event different -- per the details in the news story? What about otherwise?
You can also feel free to discuss whatever else you find from this particular news story. When responding to your peers, click on their links to read the stories as well.
Unique means once someone else posts a story, you have to find a separate one. If you pick an Associated Press story, be careful that it isn't shared by another news site.
