Problem: A chef at a restaurant recently attended a trade show where she saw a demonstration and taste test of new brand of olive oil. The chef is interested in using the new olive oil in the restaurant's kitchen, but she would need to justify to the manager and owner that it is worth the extra price (it costs about 20% more than their current brand of olive oil). The chef decided to run an experiment during the next dinner service and cook some of the meals using their current olive oil and some of the meals using the new olive oil. Since there were two servers working that night, the chef decided that she would use the usual olive oil for all of the tables being served by Sam and the new olive oil for all of the tables being served by Kris -- but the customers weren't told about the experiment or anything out of the ordinary with their meals.
