Problem:
Consider a problem behavior in your own life or in the life of your marriage/family that you are willing to discuss. The class will not be able to see your submission. Please be careful not to choose something that I would be required by law to report (intent to harm yourself or someone else). You are free to choose anything that you wish. Part of being a good helper for others is understanding and knowing yourself better. If you can't help work on yourself and your own difficulties, how can you help others effectively? Your self-assessment should be written in essay style and should describe the problem, factors contributing to the problem, attempted solutions/interventions, successes and failures, and any short-term or long-term goals related to the issue.
